In case you blinked and missed it, winter passed more quickly than usual this year, and the weather’s warming back up. That also means that spring break is happening soon. If you’re sticking around the Valley this year, there’s plenty to do! Here are some ideas to keep both you and the kids entertained during spring break.

Baseball in Phoenix!

Spring Training baseball in Phoenix has been a tradition for devoted fans since 1947, when just two teams, the Cleveland Indians and the New York Giants, came here to prepare for the regular season. Today, 15 teams train in the Phoenix metropolitan area. The Cactus League is the prime destination for baseball fans wanting to catch spring training games.

Go to a Water Park or Pool

Wet ‘n’ Wild will open its doors on a limitedfor the Spring Break season. Golfland/SunSplash will also have its race cars, bumper boats, laser tag and miniature golf as well as three water slides open during Spring Break. The indoor wave pool at Kiwanis Park in Tempe is open year-round, and will be full of people cooling off during Spring Break.
